Rosenberg Signs Get Facelift

The entryway signs in Rosenberg, Tx got a face lift over the weekend of April 17, 2010 thanks to the partnership between The Rosenberg Development Corporation and the Fort Bend Master Gardeners. Volunteers planted roses and copper canyon daisies in the garden areas of the entryway signs at Brazos Park. This is part of the initiative to improve the overall view of Rosenberg. Rosenberg is just south of Sugar Land, Tx, which is also South West of Houston, Tx.The Rosenberg Development Corporation has been in existence since 1995 and was established through public referendum. It is allocated one-half cent of Rosenberg’s sales tax proceeds to invest in projects to benefit the city. The Board of Directors meets the second Thursday of each month at noon at the Rosenberg Civic Center. The public is always welcome and is encouraged to attend these meetings.
