Sugar Land Area Hightower Theatre Arts Department Presents Award-Winning Playwright

The Hightower High School Theatre Arts Department in the Sugar Land, Tx area is scheduled to present the play, “Fences” in celebration of American playwright, August Wilson.The play has won a Pulitzer Prize for drama and a Tony Award for “Best Play,” and is part of Wilson’s epic cycle focusing on African-American life in the 20th century.On Monday, February 22, and Tuesday, February 23, Hightower High School Theatre students are set to perform the play, at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s auditorium, located at 3333 Hurricane Lane.For adults, ticket prices are $6 and $5 for students.Hightower High School is located in the Sugar Land area, by gorgeous neighborhoods like Riverstone and Greatwood.Source: hcnonline.com
